Data minimisation
We process only name, phone, email, trip, passenger and luggage details, operational driver/vehicle data and, where required, information for Chilean tax documents. We do not require health, biometric, sexual orientation, gender identity, belief, racial or ethnic origin, or other sensitive-category information. Do not enter unnecessary sensitive information in free-text fields.
Purposes
Data is used to respond to requests, take user-requested pre-contractual steps, perform the transfer, coordinate drivers, process payments, comply with legal and tax duties, maintain security and traceability, and handle incidents. Booking data is not used for marketing.
Driver location
When a driver is connected and available, TaxiNexo may process location to manage availability, compatibility, assignment and coordination. During an active service, location may support operations. We do not operationally track a driver while offline or unavailable.
Automated processing
Automated rules may evaluate compatibility and rank candidates by capacity, availability and service characteristics. Operational selection retains human operator involvement and can be reviewed.
Providers and international transfers
Essential providers may process data for infrastructure, transactional email, payments, maps, security and notifications. Drivers receive only what is needed to perform the transfer. International transfers are subject to the conditions and safeguards required by Chilean law.
Retention
Quote without request: up to 30 days; unpaid request: up to 90 days; completed trip: up to 5 years unless a longer legal duty applies; tax records: applicable legal period; availability location: only while operationally necessary; trip location: normally up to 90 days; unsuccessful driver application: up to 90 days; former-driver operational data: up to 12 months unless a longer duty applies; security logs: up to 12 months; privacy-rights records: up to 5 years. Criminal-record certificates are deleted after verification and no copy is retained.
Your rights
Where applicable, request access, rectification, erasure, objection, portability or temporary blocking at info@taxinexo.cl. We may reasonably verify identity. You may complain to Chile's Personal Data Protection Agency where provided by law.
Security
TaxiNexo applies privacy by design and by default, access controls, minimisation, traceability and measures intended to protect confidentiality, integrity, availability and resilience. Incidents will be managed and reported where legally required.
Legal framework

Communication channels
User requests are handled through the current web flows. Formal TaxiNexo communications are sent by email. Instant-messaging applications are not an official TaxiNexo channel. A one-off operational contact by the assigned driver or operator near or during a trip does not replace these official channels.
